I told myself I wouldnt do anything except take pictures till I was done with the weight loss. However, I am rethinking that. Perhaps it would be good for my mind and my body to blog about it. I'm not really sure I will post any pictures till I am at least half-way to my goal weight.
Anyway...here is where I am with the my Gastric Sleeve:
1) it is now 6 weeks since I had my surgery
2) I feel a little hungry
3) Protein shakes are getting old.
4) I feel like I should be shedding weight faster
5) WHY AM I BLOGGING ABOUT THIS....cause I need to and because this is my blog!
I have lost about 25lbs since surgery...not that much...right? As far as looks go though...it seems like I have lost a whole lot more....my middle definately looks smaller to me.

Laundry backlog
So we now have one sick child and a sick hubby.
Poor baby though, she felt good enough to go to school yesterday but then had an episode of runny poo at school. Then she threw up in the car twice and twice at home. She's such a trooper though, she went for gymnastics class and made it through with no problem. I just wish I had known earlier that she was gonna be sick again cause I wouldn't have taken her.
I'm not a germ-a-phobic person but I do think washing everyone's bed linens might help curtail the virus. Course this most ambitious task has now caused a laundry pile-up. Mostly due to the fact that I have stripped the sheets of the beds and taken everyone's pillows and blankets to the laundry room. You would think I would have learned by now, that stripping all the rooms in the house at one time is not a good idea. DH is also sick, though I wonder if most of it is not in his head.

Men, Kids, and Poo
Ok...so now I do believe my mom. Men, babies and poo do not mix. I dont know why, but DH has a fear of washing the kids' private areas, most especially their butts. I have to say I find this absolutely amusing. Now they both know how to wipe their behinds after going potty. However, somtimes its necessary for one of us to step in and help. Just wipe it and get it clean, that's all there is to it.
For all those who were waiting anxiously...here is a video of the birthday girl on her birthday. DH does not know how to take video with my camera, so there is no sound.

Tutu's birthday and tummy virus
So for my first post...I would like to wish my daughter, Caerdwean (Tutu) a very happy birthday.
Nope, that was not all I had to say!
Tutu is now 4 years old and will be the same age as her brother for a great 14 days before he turns 5. My poor babe is sick with a tummy virus, however, that is not keeping her from having a very good day. I have helped her shower twice today (on account of having the explosive runs.) She has dressed up as a butterfly princess and showered the world with her glitter blessings and we have all made necklaces. Daddy had to make a necklace too...and he wasnt allowed to discard the pink beads. Its almost 3pm so the day is young. I do wish she'd stop pooping and start eating/drinking more.
Alright then, my darlings cant stand to have me away from them and blogging for more than a minute...so till then.
